Great news for all the mac community in this new year of 2010 : PokerTracker3 is FINALLY released for the mac. After years in the making, you will be able to use this tracker that was made popular on the Windows platform. But please beware, this version for the mac is still in early development stages, it’s an alpha release so you’ll have to deal with some bugs
Also newcommers, be careful: PokerTracker relies on Postgresql so if you’re a developer, installing PokerTracker may overwrite your existing postgresql server. I have not tested that as i didn’t have a pgsql server running but it may do. Didn’t see any option to untick postgresql in the installer.
PokerTracker 3 comes with a 60 trial period, full version costs $90 and Microstakers version is $50

By the way, if you’re not always using PokerTracker and do not want Postgresql running on your mac startup (something i like to keep control of!!!)
Just delete this file :
/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.edb.launchd.postgresql-8.4.plist
